Dogs wag there tells to let other people and dogs around them know their Identity there special smell but sadly for you sick people only dogs can smell it! that includes: Sex, hair color, eye color and Availability in other words when a dog wags their tail it is like us putting on our strongest cologne walking into a bar and waving our drivers liscense around and saying "Hey ladies! Look at me! Smell me MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! oh and Im SINGLE!." So next time you see your dog wagging it's taill it might be because it's happy to see you! or IT'S REAL HAPPY TO SEE YOU!

No . The wagging can be the sign of happiness or balancing before attacking other dog or human etc.

I never thought of that but it might be true. We have a Boston terrier and he shakes his backside alot because he has no tail.

no. it's because they are happy and or playful. notice they wag their tail whenever they see their masters. man's best friend :)
