For the last several years I have been having very vivid and "real like" dreams. Some are very violent. Some are so real that during the day I cannot remember whether i dreamt it or if it really happened. I would love to talk to someone about this but I do not know who I would talk to. Some of my dreams I do not remember until something happens during the day and then I do not know when and where it happened or evern if it did. I can also wake up and go right back into the dream, sometimes. When I wake up I am almost as tired as when I went to sleep. These dreams are all over the place, where I am running, tiring to get away from someone or something, people dieing, not being able to find my children in a crowd, wanting to love someone other than my husband, and the list could go on and on...............it is crazy, I feel sometimes like I am losing my mind. what can I do? Who can I talk to? How can I explain everything that goes on in my head??

A person’s life is full of dreams. Dream can be about one’s ambition which he gets fulfilled with the passage of time thru his own hard work, intelligence, good planning and with the blessings of Almighty. Another is day dreaming which is really not a good habit and can be controlled with one’s will power. But what about the dreams a person experiences during sleep. Do they hv effect in our real life? What do they mean? What is their interpretation? The person asks to his friends, elders and seniors in his social circle. Sometimes he gets satisfactory reply and sometimes not. These days Internet is a rich source of information. So one does not need to depend on others for one’s dream interpretation. The Yahansmaniac Community member suggests the following.

I have been plagued with vivid dreams for years. It took me a long time to get used to it. LIke you, sometimes I was't sure if what I dreamed was a dream or real. I searched for some help and I really could not find anyone to help. I have been under a lot of stress tho for years, and that is what I attribute the dreams to. Go to your doctor and make sure you are healthy. If so you can try counseling and maybe some anti anxiety agents. I got to the point where it was kinda fun to sleep and dream. Sorta like going to the movies and seeing a different movie every night. It still scares me when I have horrific dreams, especially when they are about my kids. When I wake up I just remind myself it was only a dream.

Try meditation and prayer before sleeping.
Rest your mind in the knowing that everything will work out exactly as it is suppose too. Everyone's mind is troubled at times, but the show must go on.

Not sure of your religious beliefs, but dreams are mention in the KJV Bible many times. Here are a few references.

Daniel Chapter 2
Deuteronomy 13 : 1
Job 7: 14

Don't mean to offend just a suggestion.

This sounds serious, especially if it's affecting you so much. From what little I know of dreams, they are of a subconscious nature, something could be on your mind constantly but you are unaware. The thing is you have choices, you can make a visit to a counselor, maybe you are just overworked and need sometime to yourself, you can find a dream interpreter (a psychic, I don't believe in them to much though) or you can do like me and not let dreams take over your life.

I have the exact same thing happening that you have happening. I have my own theory on this. In my case though. I even wrote a little "FAQ" (if you know what that is) on why I dream like I do, why I remember my dreams, and what it all means. I have the "FAQ" somewhere posted online, if you are interested, I can give you the web address. Let me know. I would rather not have everyone here who reads this forum has access to it.

You need to pray before you sleep so you wont have any bad dreams or shall we say nightmare. I had those before and its very scary sometimes. And try not to sleep when you are still full or empty stomach.

Stop watching too much TV and do some outdoor activity. Relax your mind.
