I'm just speaking from personal experience here...I have asthma pretty bad and have had it since I was a baby...my advice is to use traditional medicine sparingly and mostly only in times of emergency and dire need. Most of the medicine they gave me had steroids in them, as most of them do, so they caused worse health problems in the long run. Just be cautious and ask your doctor EXACTLY what is in the medication!

Traditional treatments have improved over the years. Previous treatments were discovered to cause death and major complications. It is best to see an allergist and learn what triggers the asthma attacks and keep asthma under control.
It is irresponsible to abandon newer scientifically sound traditional treatments and rely on untested unscientific treatments that could leave you vulnerable and cause permanent damage or death.
It is ok to play around with new age stuff for beauty and "wellness" as long as you continue taking your traditional asthma meds and are willing to spend big bucks to support these "treatments".

Asthma can be a very serious medical condition. Try to control it as much as possible without using a lot of steroids. Long-term use of these products can cause severe kidney failure. Modern medicine has given us new inhalers that help a lot. Unfortunately, old-fashioned remedies don't help much. Take care.

I have really bad asthma and it got worse after preganacy, I take Advair, it seems to be the only thing out there that really helps control it, I take it at night before bed. I really don't suffer to much from the regualr symptons of allergies, but, when I do I also take Singular, some people just take singular for asthma and allergies and it seems to work, but it didn't for me. Id I take my Advair everyday, I rarely need to use Albuteral. I also tried using hebs, but with no help. Also try yogo, it teaches you breathing techniques that help excercise the lungs..
