a good atp on the nose and a spray bottle worked great for me..

That is a tough one.. He licks you because he LOVES you. To tell him or to try to train him/her NOT to lick might be counterproductive for the dog. I would rather have a dog that shows his affection than one who is trained not to

If you really can't stand it, buy a liquid called BITTER APPLE from the pet store & spray some on your hands/arms etc. It will stop them from licking really quickly. It's harmless, but very bitter.

you arrive home & your dog wants to give you a lick- a face lick. he/ she is actually wants a mouth lick & is a closet french kisser.
this is actually a natural evolution of the pup asking its returning mum for a meal. what your dog really wants,is for you to regurgitate a treat.

We have chihuahuas and they are notorious lickers. I love my little puppy kisses tho. Sometimes when they have done it for like 10 minutes straight, I will make them get down so they have to stop. You should be happy that your dog loves you so much.

awwwwww! how cute! he loves you so much. no dog wil stay away from its owner. i say he really loves you and will do any sort of help you want atleast upto his level best. he wil liv wid you forever man. its just affection 2wards ya.
