Because everything else was so perfect and boring. I think we were created for gods own entertainment. I'm sure we give a ton of laughs with all the stupid things we do here on earth.

I also believe that all the people who die get to go to a celestial theater to sit with god and enjoy the show. This way, we actually get to see just how utterly stupid we are...sorta like watching a chess game over someone's shoulder.

This was a great question. I hope everyone gets something out of it.

Well I guess this one stirs the dog crap in all of us.That age old question of just is there or isn't there a God.You know. The one where he's supposed to have made us in his image. The kindly old man with the grey beard, welcoming us in at the time of our inevitable passing.
This is the same God that stands by while man knocks the living **** out of eachother in HIS name. But its ok of course.Challenge any born-againer and they'll tell you it's not God who's doing it,but Man.Yes,but you say Man was born in God's image. So does that make God a cold-blooded killer if he's made us in HIS image? I think not.Because if there was a God,he'd be pure. And he'd be like that because he wouldn't have the human curse of growing old and 'enlightened'.He'd remain as a child. With innocense and purity.Perhaps when 'God' himself was made, there were no other emotions or afflictions. They hadn't been bought about yet.As nothing had been before.
Either way you look at it.As a believer or a non-believer,it cannot be argued that before there was anything there were emotions. So if God was born out of a purity, how can it be said that we were made in his image? Man is evil.He destroys all that get in his path.
If there was a God,he'd have none of that. Why does someone kill in the name of something that they have no proof exists?Unyet they are willing to kil lthemselves and others, including children,in his name.
F*cking barmy.

Cuz he wanted to- He's God, He can do whatever He wants to. As for wars and fighting, these are not God's fault, but the Devil is behind it (Revelations 12:9). When God created humans, He had no idea that they would turn against Him and become this wicked. It's like this: if you had a baby, do you know how he or she will turn out in say, 30 years? No, you don't. Same thing with God. So we can't blame Him for things that are happening on earth today- they're not His fault.

GOD created us 2 obay 'm not 2 fight & from GOD's love that he keeps on sending religions 4 our good but the people keep on fightin' & use their religion as a warsheild but this isn't good
so that's why GOD sent the baha'i religion so that people loves each other more than b4 & many other things

God don't care about religion as much as he does about a personal relationship with you as a individual.

God created us in his image, cause he wanted a family. Like a proud parent, God especially enjoys watching you use the talents and abilities he has giving you. God intentionally gifted us differently for his enjoyment. He has made some to be athletic and some to be analytical. You may be gifted at mechanics or mathematics or music or a thousand others skills. All these abilities can bring a smile to God's face.

I suppose the best answer I can give you is that He just wanted a family. He created us for the same reason a husband and a wife decides to have children...because they want a family. This desire for family and community did not originate with us humans, but it originated in God Himself. Before humans there were just angels, but they were more His servants than his children.

As far as us fighting now, of course He knew that we would kill each other. He didn't want us to hate each other, and if we weren't going to hate each other, He wanted it to be because we chose not to hate each other. God knew that man would rebel against all He stood for, but He wanted us to chose not to rebel, and if we did rebel, then He already had a plan for those who rebelled and those who chose to love Him.

Of course I can get into this deeper, but I hope I answered your question as to why He even bothered to create a whole new order of being called man.

When he created us he didn't know we were going to fight.
But when you give something free will that is the chance that you take that they are going to chose the wrong way.
In Genesis 6:6 Jehovah felt regrets that he had ever made man in the earth, and he felt hurt at his heart.
Why because they were so violent and then he caused the flood.
Many scriptures shows that we caused god pain.
We pained him in the desert. there clothes didn't wear out, they were supplied with food and water. They complained and before they were starving and working as slaves. Making mud bricks.
they didn't even have to work. When they wanted meat sent flocks of sea gulls. Remember all the while they complained about wanting meat they herded their flocks. They had them but didn't want to kill them. they were not hurting

Perhaps it is because we are easier to see than Sea Monkeys.

Maybe he doesn't even know we are here.

Maybe he did it as a social experiment -- to see if we could learn to think on our own or if we would blindly believe what we were told by political leaders like Moses, the Caesars and Japanese Emperors who told the masses that they talked with God.

Or -- perhaps we invented him.

I believe the amazing amount of love He has to give and His creativity. I think He wanted people to love Him of their own free will, not like the angels. There are millions and millions of people who do love Him. He will return and reign over His creation.

He created us to have fellowship with him. Sadly, most of us never want to connect with him. If we did, we would not have the problems we have. We'd be living our lives to please Him and not ourselves which has been the problem since Adam and Eve. THose who love him and follow him now and are trusting Christ will get to do so for all of eternity...l
