Choice Hotels has 4 open, the Sheraton is open... try hotels.com just to see who's available, put location within 5 miles, that will get you plenty of choices. I stayed at a B and B in October last year! There were 4 open already... :) BandBonline.com will show those for you.

After a year, 6 of the 9 hospitals remain closed, the same is probably true for the hotels as well. More affluent areas of the city, have been repaired and are up and running again. However, the poorer sections remain in a terrible state. Check it out before you go.

A lot of hotels in the area are open and waiting for business. Come visit New Orleans. Just call each Hotel before to make sure you can get a room.

Here is a list of hotels.

The majority of hotels in and around the French Quarter are open. This is where most tourists visit. I'm not sure about other areas of the city.
