I cook the rise by boiling the water & trowing a way the water. The rise is great & not sticky...I keep it for the night in the refrigerator & the day after it is NOT eatable!

What can I do to keep it good for eating? Should I keep it on fire during the hours that I keep it outside the refrigerator? Help me please!

I have to keep the rise available for eating for anout 5 hours after cooking. Should I keep it on low heat? or cool it down to room temperature? would it be eatable a day after-coooking, if I store it in the refrigerator after the 5-6 hours from cooking?

i don't know what you do to it to make it smelley but i have always put it in the fridge after dinneer and then the next day i put butter sugar and milk and nuke it for a very tasty breakfast. or i use it to make chinese fried rice. to do this you chop green onions, shop ham and fry the ham to get i hot the put in the onoins and then the rice and THEN scramble some eggs and pour over and steam until eggs set. very tasty

The problem is that you are leaving the rice out for way too long after it has been cooked and it is being contaminated by germs, etc. It needs to be refrigerated immediately upon cooling.

cool it down first, put in a good airtight container and into fridge when cooled... the best is to put into freezer AFTER it has cooled down.

i have never had a problem with this.

check the temperature of your fridge also.,

Hmmm. If the same person who taught you how to cook is the same person who taught you how to spell and use the English language, you should consider eating out more.

Rice is high protein and therefore very susepticable to bacteria the only wat to store it after cooking is the Freezer (2months max)
