Simply said, the happiest one.

As most people would know GAY means happy in American English but by now it is most likely the most abused word in the same language! In this century I do not advise anyone to use it casually as they could very well be misunderstood! examples: "Today I feel so gay", "I feel everso gay", " All the people at the party were very gay" I guess everyone got the point. So, refrain from using it and say being happy is my suggestion.

I don't know what you mean by gayest but I've always found the word "flamboyant" very flamboyant.
