Totally agree, i love actually thinking about what this person may need to hear instead of telling them what to do, or being dogmatic like the majority of the answer users....i don't think its my place to tell anyone what to do, just share my knowledge with them and be hopeful and encouraging..though sometimes i'm sure i just write quick responses because i can't be bothered to get into it, if its important though i tend to be the only one who says what i say and everyone else is somehow saying something different. Do you get me.

Yes! There are a lot of comments on this site asking why we are all wasting our time. I think if you have a few minutes, it's wonderful to log on and connect with people all over the world... plus I do get a warm fuzzy feeling when my answer is chosen as the best and I feel I've really helped a bit!
I have also learnt something about myself on this site and maybe changed my opinions on a few things. I always thought that I was a very open minded person, but I think this has made me a little more so. For that I am grateful.

Yeah, definitely, I'm so glad I started up on this site. I started just yesterday, but I've asked several questions and have answered a lot more.

What can a person give and keep at the same time?
Knowledge. Or perhaps a cold.

But I like doing this, I think it's worth my time if I can share my knowledge on this site. Now I can do it face-to-face and over the Internet. Good question, it could bring the realization to some people of what's really important.

O yes very much! When i answer other people's problems which i can relate to, it makes me feel that i'm not the only person suffering from those kinds of problems. Plus, it feels good to help others cos it's also like helping your self find the answer. Even though I can't relate to the question, it still feels good to answer sincerely except for those "nasty" questions; because they're often fun to answer in a silly way...or something like that... hehe...

When I answer a question here I have chosen it because I know something about the subject. I don't just answer for the fun of it or to get points.
I also get something out of it, a chance to say something anonamously, no interuptions, no nasty looks, just judged on what I write. And as a bonus I get to vent a little bit, pass on my limited experience & read & learn from what others have written.

It's the best deal I've had in a long time.

One of the best questions!

I really want to help people. But could not reach out to the world. Now I think I can, and also share ideas along the way. And it feels great when some kind soul chooses yr answer as the best. It makes my day.

Yes, it seems the ones that have been chosen as best answer are the ones where I've helped someone. It makes me feel good.
But I also get my kick out of answering dumbass questions, too.
