I am 33 and my husband is 27. I met him when I was 26 and he was 20. We have been together for 7 years. There is really no problem with it. It is really hard to find someone who really understands and supports you. He might be your sole mate and when you find your sole mate keep them close. Your father will get over it. Go with your heart!

like and love is different thing. Now this guy care for you.
is ok that you be a friend first then see whether both of you confetable to get together. Then only you got a confident to show your parent that when you with him are very happy. This also prove that this guy can give you the happyness that you like to have. That is what your parent care about. They are just care about you worry that you get lie from the stranger that they did not know you see.
you have to understand how our parent feel. Then only you can adjust the situation. Hope this will help
wish u all the best.

Unfortunatly, I agree with you father for the following reasons. I saw the word Support, and he helps me out. What about the word LOVE???? If you REALLY LOVE the man then it should not matter what Daddy or anyone thinks. However by the question I just read you do not love the guy or you wouldn't be confussed. Remember he may be your friend for NOW!! But your dad must know something about the guy or he would not stand in your way.

I'm sorry to say this but I agree with your father. At your age, 28 is a little to old for you. You're just a puppy in the ways of life and he has been around the block a time or two. Date someone your own age.

There comes a point in everyone's life when they need to start living their own life. You cannot continue to worry about what everyone says and that includes your parents. The age difference is not an issue. You are both adults. I think you should just do what you think is best.

Don't pay any attention to people who won't let you be happy. Stay with him as long as your happy and he's happy.
