My girls are 5 years and 3 years. I still just toss them in the tub together for a bath. When do you think I should stop bathing them together? I always have and they dont think anything of it....

???

Thanks.

Since it is 2 little girls. I think it is Okay to give them baths together until the 5 year old ask you to let her take a bath by herself. Now if it were a boy and a girl. That would be different. But they both have the same body parts. So you don't have any uncomfortable questions to answer. So my advice until the oldest complains live it alone.

They will tell you when they don't want to bath together any longer.Maybe when the other gets about 7 or 8 she'll want to bathe alone.

I don't think that's necessarily bad to bathe them together. They are girls, and I think that them sharing that time together is actually beneficial in that it brings them closer together. I personally don't see anything wrong with it. If you notice behaviors that are not sitting well with you, then it would be the right time to make changes, but for now, it seems ok.

If they don't complain why stop it?? In Japanese public bath, whole families get to wash together in one big bath (man and woman are separated though). I must explain, they wash outside the bath and soak their CLEAN body in the bath together with others.

When they say they don't want to take baths together anymore. They probably like having someone to play with.

Keep up the good work Mom. They are girls and sisters. They will let you know when they want to bathe independently.

My sister and I are close in age and we were always put in the tub together. And eventually we wanted to be grown ups and shower alone.
