Buddhism doesn't believe in a "savior" and teaches personal responsibility in all actions, any "punishment' is the result of Karma and takes place in the form of lessons one must learn in order to achieve Nirvanah. To fail to learn all lessons is to be reincarnated to learn those lessons again.
Christianity teaches that mankind is intrinsicly flawed and may only achieve heaven thru the worship of God and Jesus the Christ, and punishment in hell for those who do not or will not worship.
