After taking Imodium a couple weeks ago for diarrhea, my bowel movements have been strange..

At most times they are normal but in between I have had three episodes of thin stools -- is this diarrhea? I also took more Imodium at these times...did this contribute to the strange bowel patterns?

Like all medications, you shouldn't overdo it.

Thin stools are not diarrhea. Imodium should only be taken if you are constantly running to the toilet.

Stap taking it and let your body return to normal.

More likely you have something going on in your bowels that the imodium stops and when you stop the imodium it recurs. If this continues get a medical consultation.

Stop taking the Imodium, you are definately using this product too often! Consequently, it is in fact affecting your bowel movements.

Well it seems to make sense, doesn't it? If when you took Imodium, it led to thin stools, then perhaps you need to try another over the counter medicine. Talk with your pharmacist!
