Why does everyone have a grudge against Islam?

Why is it that most non-muslims criticize Islam without actually knowing what they're speaking about?

I actually know some muslims and they are very nice people. But overall I am somewhat scared of them. I do not hate them, I hate the evil. Christians have been doing horrible things in the name of Jesus...Jesus did not want that to happen and He warned us about it.

I hear that Islam is supposed to be very peacefull religion. But thre are some aspects that makes me to think that muslims cannot be the same time "good muslims" and good friends with Americans, because they are forbidden from making friends with Jews and Americans. Their allegiance is to Allah, the moon god of Arabia, and no other god is accepted but Allah ( Quran 2:256 ).

We live here peacefully together and then something like 9/11 happens. That was so scarry to me. I do not hate muslims, but I hate the evil. How can we live peacefully here because their allegiance is to five pillars of Islam and the Quran? And American Costitution is based on Biblical principles

They have to submit to mullah ( spiritual leaders ) who teach annihilation of Israel and destruction of American, the great satan.Their religion is not based on a free will. Islam, Muhammed, and Quran do not allow the freedom of religion and expression.

I would like to be friends with everybody. I just saw the movie World Trade Center...We are forced to dig our loved ones from under the rubble...both sides...how can your heart go on loving after that? My wish is that we could live peacefully together. My wish is that we can put our differences aside, forgive to each other all the bad and evil.

OK I Don't Have A Grudge Against ISLAM,However The Type Of Society These Extremists Run And Are Allowed To Get Away With Is Appalling,They Lie To Millions Of PPL Using Their Own Religion To Do It,The Extemist Leaders Are At Fault For The Hatred,Not The Religion They Use To Start Their Stuff (To Put It Politely)

1. Saying 'everyone' is an inaccurate statement. No disrespect intended, but not everyone criticizes Muslims.
2. In some respects, if what I see on TV is at least partially accurate, there may be some things Muslims practice, that may be helpful to Christians.
3. At least in my mental analysis presently, there is a difference between the people (Muslims) and Islam (the religion). Just as there is a difference between the people (Christians) and Christianity (the religion)
Admittedly I have not read the Koran multiple times, even though I did get it from the library recently(?)..

First, you must ask Muslims why they have a grudge against everyone including themselves.
That's a very foolish question. Muslims do things that deserve criticism. The actions of many Muslims show us exactly what they are. Now if you are a true Muslim, you have a duty to speak out against the behavior of those evil Muslims.

I don't have any grudge against Islam as a whole. But a few elements in the name of religion are trying to create a division between each other for their own selfish goals & innocent muslims are following them blindly.
No religion teaches hatred and violence. No religion is greater than love & peace.
But still I wonder why all terrorist in the world are muslims!

I don't think anyone really has a grudge agains them but what would you think of a religious community that promoted killing to get sex with virgins and that killed innocent bystanders to get such a selfish reward they will never see? When so many are killing so many innocent people, there will be more hatred that is developed toward the whole. I am sure not all Islamics are that way but when you see every day they are trying to kill and destroy all they can and taking innocent lives daily, what would you think about it? They are not portraying the nice peaceful people that some say Islam represents but a facist group bent on terror and murder of innocent lives.

Unlike Muslims, non Muslims are usually rational and logical people.They call a paedophile(child rapist) a criminal but Muslim call a paedophile a prophet a messenger(Mohammad married Aisha when she was9 years old and Mohammad was54).Non Muslims think that because of some body's believe it wrong to kill or hurt them but Muslims believe that killing a non believer and a Murtid(convert from Islam) is compulsory(According to Quran and Mohammad sunnah when Mohammad killed 700 Jews of Bani Nadir and 900 Jews of Bani Quraiza UNARMED HAND TIED BEHIND BACK AND BEHEADED ALL OF THEM AND AFTER KILLING MOHAMMAD MADE THEIR WIVES,SISTERS AND DAUGHTERS SEX SLAVES TO HIMSELF AND OTHER JIHAD MUSLIMS!!)Muslims never do anything or invent anything for humans and humanity.Christians and Jews invented all inventions of the world for the sake of humans and humanity.In Islam "THINKING" is prohibited and therefore they have the most barbaric,uncivilised,irrational and non logical rules laws governments and countries. These few words are just 2% introduction of Islam and Muslims and other 98% everybody knows.

I am a Muslim and I criticise Muslims a lot. You have to live among the muslims at the grass roots with ordinarily with open ears minds and eyes and among any of the communities for a considerable period of time then you would be at a loss of words while criticising muslims. Muslims of the sub-continents are crude, mentally constipated and constricted and accordingly their behaviours. It is only natural that people will criticise Islam .

As for me I do not have a grudge against Islamics in general.
Just the ones that use the religion as a crutch to commit atrocities to people by using kidnapping and murder to spread their beliefs.
I know quite a few Islamics that are decent people and would not hurt anyone for anything.

Its wrong.No one has grudge against any religion.Unfortunatelly some incidents have happened where most of the acts are done agaist country and society,done by Muslims.That does not mean that Islam Religion says to do so.So this is only prejudice not fact.No religion teaches to fight against one another.
