though i am an atheist, i will not stoop down to the level of dubbing yoga, meditation and martial arts as brain washing techniques. they are simply forms of physical exercises and relaxation techniques and self defense methods. shun the idea of hating every thing that comes from the east. for your information all the civilizations and major religious prophets were born in Asia.

If V bans yoga, meditation, and martial art (Eastern brain washing techniques), then V will also have to ban Christianity, materialism, and consumerism -- Western brain washing techniques. And since V probably like his Big Macs, Chevys, and Jesus, he probably will not want to sacrifice them.

I do not advocate banning these things because they are not brain washing techniques as you seem to think - in fact they are just ways to develop self discipline and physical training. Only someone who fears what they do not understand would suggest banning something which is beneficial.

Most people don't take these things up until they are adults. If they chose to do things as consenting adults then it is not any of our business. If you want to stop brainwashing they you should start a campaign against indoctrinating Children with religious nonsense.

I don't think that anyone should be told about any form of religion until they are adults. It is abusive to fill small children's heads with nonsense about a judgmental god who loves conditionally, and back it up with threats of hell fire and eternal damnation.

Any other circumstance where children were treated this way would be considered a crime. Religion is the one form of institutional child abuse that is still accepted.
