first of all, the three most important: beauty (not so), brains (very much) and attitude (most important). try to be as beautiful as you can by putting extra effort in doing your appearance. it's like hitting two birds at the same time (whatever you call that). you get to be pleasing to his eyes and also you get to be pleasing to others. also, know the boy's interests. try to apply it to your own interests. if it doesn't work, never mind. just somehow get along with his friends - just somehow though. but the most important of all, try to improve your attitude - not only when his around of course. don't be plastic. BE YOUR BETTER SELF whether his around or not. not only will you get him to get cool with you but also will you get others to get cool with you too.

Girls sometimes have this misconception that boys always fall prey to beauty which is a wrong notion.
If you want anyone to like you, then start paying attention to him, be smart because boys prefer Beauty with Brains, don't act over smart, be usual, be just what you are, be honest and yes be caring.
Don't stare him all the time, boys feel insecure and they think the girl will keep an eye on me throughout the life and therefore, will limit his freedom.

Make them jalousie don’t go for a boy let them come to you, trust me I’m a 16 years old boy and I’ve done that been there.

I am afraid it is impossible to MAKE a boy like you. I would suggest just hanging around him (not too much), being nice to him, and maybe asking him out.
