Yes . There is some 'tension' between Iran and UAE,
(but that is all it is..I wouldn't say it is any more than that)
1)There is a dispute over 3 island in the Persian Gulf - Greater and Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa, - which belong to Iran but UAE claim should be part of their country

2)Iran is a Persian Shia Muslim country with a Shia government, whilst UAE is a mainly Arab Sunni Muslim country with a Sunni government.. and they are not really that close.. That is one reason why Iran has not had that much support in the Muslim world in it's stance against the USA...and it's wish for nuclear development....

As far as I have been given to believe by an Iraqi, Iran has quite some tension with most of its Middle eastern neighbours.
While there is division there, there is hope for a little more Western peace, at least a little longer, anyway!!!
