How honest and upfront are most people - if a guy or girl tried to outrageously flirt with you and you were not attracted to them at all, how would you let them know?

i wouldn't. I would just make an obvious but wrong assumption that they were just having a laugh, and laugh along, but keep the right side of the line that says "come on" and don't flirt myself.

I would tell them straight forward that I was not interested, no sense in playing games and letting them think that I might be interested.

by no means tell them straight, people are great at flirting then when you say "im not intrested" theyre like "oh i was only bein friendly" just dont flirt back theyll soon get the hint and by all means DONT LEAD THEM ON!!!! for one its not fair and for two youll be shittin on your own doorstep!

Tell them out right! Its no good letting them thiink they going to get in your knickers (or boxers!) when u arent up 4 it...just tell them u dont like them like they are hoping 4!

Basically, I've always said I was not interested if I'm really not. I don't play with a person's feelings, so I'm always up front about my "no thank you's".
