I have had this happen before and it's really a bummer. In my case, my contacts have a very slight tint to them so I can at least see the contact when I finally locate it. I get a mirror and go to an area with VERY bright light so I can see the contact (this usually involves pulling back my eyelid, rolling my eyes, etc.) After that, I taken my index finger and, through my eyelid, gently work the contact back into position, or at least to an area of the eye where I can easily get it out of my eye. Good luck. It's not easy, but it can be done!

It's probably way up and if you close your eye and gently massage it down, you should be able to get at it and remove it. I am assuming it is a soft lens. If not, go to the nearest ER and explain to them-they'll help you.

What sort is it? If it's one of the soft throw away ones you'll probably have to go A & E in the end.....they are impossible to see in your eye. If it's a hard one you should be able to get it out yourself bcz you should be able to see it. Don't worry though....it can't go behind your eye.

First of all, does your eyes hurt? if not, maybe it's already out! some try to pinch their eyes til they turn red only to find that their contacts are already out

if it does:

Drop some lubricant first then close your eyes..

open them, try moving your eyes back and forth .. blink and look into the mirror.. you can see it at the corner of your eyes..

Try closing your eye and rubbing your eyelid a little in circles. See if you can feel it then. If not, it just might have come out.
