We are living in Hell no matter what people say. There could be no place worse then this place with all the crime and violence that there is. And just think even God can not control it.
And Heaven, well some people say that heaven is the clouds, and some people say that heaven is where you are the most happiest. To me Heaven is just a name that people say to make them selves feel better about someone dying. I guess it is just your own personal opinion as to what you want to believe.

I believe both are physical places. ...because I'm not dead I can't be truly certain where either place is located. There are plenty of theories about it amongst the various Christian ministers. Here's a couple I've heard...
1) Heaven is actually on the other side of a black hole since black holes absorb everything around them, including light.
2) Hell is in the center of the earth. There are earthquakes when hell is expanding to make room for more souls.

I'm a Christian and I don't know what to believe about the locations of heaven or hell, but I do believe that both places exist. Theory 1 sounds reasonable, but theory 2 well...I don't know. If hell did expand like that I think that would mean either the earth is growing larger or that hell is eating the earth from the inside out and will eventually emerge on the surface while the earth does not change in size.

The following is an actual question given on a University of Washington chemistry mid-term. The answer by one student was so "profound" that the professor shared it with colleagues, via the Internet, which is, of course, why we now have the pleasure of enjoying it as well.

Here is the professor's "Bonus Question":
Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)?

Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law (gas cools when it expands and heats when it is compressed) or some variant.

One student, however, wrote the following:

First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So we need to know the rate at which souls are moving into Hell and the rate at which they are leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving.

As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different
Religions that exist in the world today. Most of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell.

Since there is more than one of these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell.

With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand proportionately as souls are added.

This gives two possibilities:

1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls
enter Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase
until all Hell breaks loose.

2. If Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in
Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over.

So which is it?

If we accept the postulate given to me by Teresa during my Freshman year that, "it will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with you", and take into account the fact that I slept with her last night, then number 2 must be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic and has already frozen over.

The corollary of this theory is that since Hell has frozen over, it follows that it is not accepting any more souls and is therefore, extinct...leaving only Heaven . . . thereby proving the existence of a divine being . . . which explains why, last night, Teresa kept shouting "Oh my God."

I came up with my own theory on this some years back. We all know how powerful our mind is. Research has shown that only 10% of our brain is used, and if we could tap into the 90%, we could become powerful beyond measure. Therefore, for people who are religious, they have already "implanted" within their minds the concepts of afterlife, heaven and hell. Thus, for these religious ppl, for the split-second before they die physically, they know with all their soul and mind that they are headed to heaven to be with God. So for them, the mind might play such a crucial role, even to the extent of controlling their psycological being after death. But these is just my speculation. I hope i didn't offend anyone.

Not of this world... You know the part where Jesus ascended into Heaven he went up into the clouds Ok we view the clouds as the closest thing to Heaven but note the airplanes fly but Not a sign they fly into Heaven We can not reach heaven even in their rocket ships. The part where Jesus said I go to prepare a place for you...Heaven is not of this world...No Man shall see God.

I think it is in Spirit form we shall be light of the body to see these places and they do exist.

Be good Heaven Be bad Hell
Yes a place for you to go after you die is needed.
Unless you feel you will sleep where you are buried. Or what if you do not get buried...dead from a long time in limbo...I do not believe in a purgatory so you need to make your election sure in life with God in prayers where you want to be in the end times.
Resurrection is true dead put on immortality Mortals put on immortality and what do we do and where will we go will be judged by our works actions words and deeds...Wow and Whoah
It is a lot to think about...and tears and Woe to those who do not think about it at all.

Obviously not otherwise we will be able to see them. However, they are inhabited by spiritual beings. Being spirit mean they are invisible. Therefore, their realms of existence, unlike ours, is also invisible. But they are very much experienced by them in their spiritual way, just as we in our physical ways. So in all sense, heaven and hell do exist. Generally, heavens exist high above this invisible mountain within the earth atmosphere and hell on the other hand, exist around this great invisible mountain which is surrounded by four great seas. But regardless of where these places are, there are as real to them as the earth is to us. Everything is a manifestation from the mind. Our mind (spiritual being) exists where it is most tunes to that place. You just need to know your real spiritual being which is not the physical body. Take care.

No they don't exist as real in the sense that a place like Dallas or Peoria exists.

They are more like states of mind. One is in heaven or hell because of the way that they see reality. If they are fear based then hell is very real to them. They feel its effects as a literal reality.

If they are love based then hell is not a reality, heaven is. We each create our own heaven or hell by the way we chose to view the world, so be very careful how you think.

I believe Heaven is in a different dimension. I believe Hell is everywhere else, where you have to struggle and learn what it takes to get into Heaven... or maybe just decide Heaven's where you truly want to be... Either could be eternal if that's what you choose...

Some physicists believe there are at least 11 spacial dimensions. Sure Heaven and Hell are probably real places and who knows what else you'll find hidden in those extra dimensions.

Yes they are, but according to the science and holy-book al-Quran, the universe will explode at the end of the world. So probably the heaven and hell will emerge when the universe explode.
