I'm getting an error message "Shell_NotifyIcon NIM_ADD failed" every time I start windows XP (SP2) - any solution?

put xp disk in drive
go to run type in sfc /scannow hit enter

Try to re-install windows XP .

Don't look at the screen when you start XP.
