If i have a TV tuner installed on my PC, would you know any program that i can dowmload from the internet for FREE to capture the program while it is playing?

i don't have a tv tuner yet, just planning to buy one.

If you have a tv card it probably already has this capability. Read the manual. I have installed many of them on other sytems and havent found one that doesnt do this. Keep in mind tho, video capture takes much harddrive space!

Your tuner should come with software to let you do this. Check the manufacturer's website and see if there's a downloads section.

This can be done but you should really consider a VCR or disk recorder. Vid files are so large it really isn't practical to use the computer to record regular TV shows.

Then try to find a screen recording soft ware like Camtasia..or...Captivate...
