A passport in Texas is 50 USD. Read number 4. and the renewal fee is 25. Doesn't say anything about renewing...

It is 67 dollars plus 40 for the pic, but you can go get the picture done just about anywhere and that will save you money! go into any walgreens, cvs, or walmart and tell them you need a passport picture. They take two because one goes to the government and the other is attached to your passport.

This is the information for renewal from the US Passport Service website. I am assuming you are talking about an US Passport which is 90$ no matter what state you are in.
Also be aware that some countries/airlines will not allow you to board or enter if your passport expires in less than 6 months.

I think passports are good for 5 or 10 years.

good for 10 yrs just got mine and it was 65 .00 time to get it back well depends mine took 60 days to get it in my hands
