who said u that marriage is a prostitution.
first of all let me give a dictianary meaning of prostitution:
1.prostitution is the sale of sexual services (examples: oral sex, sexual intercourse) for money.
2.prostitution is the act or practice of engaging in sex acts for hire.
how can u corelate a word prostitution with draupadi. she wasn't hired, she was married.
if an intercourse/sex after marriage with a husband is prostitution , then every female of this world is a prostitute. i dont want 2 use any more harsh words.
and who said a lady can't marry five men at a time. western culture is known for ladies having sex without marriage. at least she was a married one. u want 2 say that sex with many males without marriage is not prostitution but a sex with five husbands (after marriage) is a prostitution. what a joke........

well if they are all happy to marry him then leave them all to it. prostitution is selling your body for money so i cant see how being married to someone who is married to five people is prostitution that's called bigamy.

Hindu mythology is with full of inconsistencies and contradictions. My advise is to see stories as stories and philosophies as philosophies. Hinduism is not a religion. It is a Library. You will see Romance, hatred, Killing, Love, lust, erotica, incest, detachment, selflessness, celebacy, multiple sex partners, swapping, single wife theory etc etc. You cannot conclude anything out of it. You be your judge and opt the best you want.
