No,not only would they throw out immigrants, they would deport British-born citizens because of their colour/religion,they wouldn't care where these people went,or what hard-ship they would suffer. Then, when they did that, they would do what Hitler did, turn on their own country-men who dared to disagree with them.Do you really want Britain to become a Nazi State? That would be a total betrayel of your fore-fathers who fought & died in WW2.

We have a similar issue in the US. Jim Gilchrist, the head of one of the Minutemen organizations in favor of strict immigration limits is considering running for the Constitution Party Presidential ticket in 2008. Tom Tancredo, a very conservative House Representative favoring strict immigration limits has said he will run if there are no 'credible' candidates carying the flag for strict immigration.

In California, Feinstein has been a great Senator on many issues and is head of the Judiciary Committee with major seniority that benefits our state, but she voted for the Senate Immigration bill, which is a horrible thing (you'd have to read it, it isn't just an issue of amnesty.) The person voting against her is great on strict immigration but also wants anti-flag burning resolutions an amendments to the Constitution against gay marriage and things that I don't support.

So, is the issue important enough that it has to take primary concern in elections? I have finally decided that it is. My only question now is whether there is a chance of winning for these people. I don't want to throw away my vote when it comes to the presidential election.

I must say, I AM leaning more towards them! This Government is doing nothing whatsoever to try to sort out the immigration "problem". So whats new? They are so incompetent now its beyond belief!! The UKIP (United Kingdom Independence Party) would pull us out of Europe, and limit immigration,so they are an option. I feel, I, personally need a political party that will stand up for British rights, take our country forward, not backwards, like this Government is doing! I don't want to live in a concrete jungle,I don't want others cultures FORCED onto me.I want BRITISH cultures.I don't want to do away with OUR culture so I don't offend others!! I want to be BRITISH, not a mixture of,Indian, Pakistani,Polish,Romanian, and so on........................BNP? MAYBE!!!

Absolutely no way. We had their manifesto posted through our door at the last election and what they are trying to achieve is little better than nazism. How can you return people to their country of origin when they have been useful members of our community for generations??

Voting for the BNP is voting for racism. Their current popularity is based purely on ignorance and media scaremongering about the immigration problem. Playing on people's fears and natural suspicions of "out-groups" is exactly what Hitler did in Germany before WW2, and although I'll concede the BNP aren't that extreme yet (deportation, not genocide) how long would it take for their policies to reach absolute extremism..?

BNP are not a viable proposition when it comes to central government,however..the first party to "promise"to sort out this mess, and control immigration and asylum seekers will win a landslide election...I live quite near an area where the Iraqi asylum seekers are fighting in the street with albanians and afghanies.!!! and killing each other.....And we think we live in a civilised society...
How did we let this happen.?

I presume you mean BNP,if so yes. In fact I already have done in the last few elections after deciding that the party I'd voted for all my life was hopeless on the question of immigration

It's a bit extremist to vote for them, & I wouldn't do so myself, I have always voted Labour, but I can understand why people would give them their vote, because Immigration has got out of hand in the UK. We need to close our borders NOW, and sort out who & what we already have in our country.

why don't we arm the 'immigrants' so they can sort out the BNP and other fascists instead? Considering the BNP and their ilk and hangers-on are all cowardly bullies, we need only arm the immigrants with cricket bats to force all the rightwing fascists onto planes and ships that will take them forever out of the UK and leaving lots of room for us to welcome some decent people with good moral values as new immigrants!!!

I assume you mean BNP and Yes. Somebody's surely got to do something about it - only this morning we've had warnings about ten million more coming here from Romania as soon as they join the common market, and it's got to stop soon or we'll run out of space, let alone everything else!
