It enhances the taste that's for sure but its a real no-no for me becaues this can cause impared speech and other health problems if used continously and in huge amounts :-)

It's bloody lethal. Also known as E621. It's in just about everything,crispa, soups, sauces etc. It's a flavour enhancer and makes children extremely hyper active. So imagine what years of it is doing to an adults body.

It's a flavour enhancer - aji no moto in Japanese. It's said to be carcinogenic and when cooking Chinese style you get the same effect by adding a pinch of sugar. Watch out for it in packet soups.
