i agree with your statement, companies should only be allowed to employ them if they cant get a UK citizen to fill the vacancy, tony Blair wants us to start "bonding" and "getting to know and understand" the immigrants, its our fukin country yet we get all the shite, they dont have to "understand" us! its also annoying when we have to make allowances when they cant even be ar sed to learn our language, i say close the flood gates to any more and kick the rest out before we are foreigners in our own country

EU immigrant workers are free to move around it is not greed to want a better life for your family but we should manage the quota coming into this country so that we don't get to many at once and perhaps just pay benefits for a months when (if) their job finishes if they cannot find another job they should go home.

No its not for greed or their safety, its to earn a reasonably decent wage doing a job that a lot of British workers are not prepared to do, they are not taking other peoples jobs (as the jobs that they take are vacant at the time of applying for them). The immigrants such as the Poles are in the EU and have every right to come here and every right to work here, and that's a fact, if you don't like it "emigrate"

YOU ARE RIGHT ! Most Eastern European Immigrants (Russians, Romanians, Bulgarians) are well off with money ,in their own countries because they inherited apartments given by the communist Party ,during Communism, still now they get FREE GRANTS from the EUROPEAN UNION OF BILIONS OF EUROS, every year. They come to America out of GREED , to make more money & be wealthy.
Most other immigrants, have bad economic & political situation in the countries & they can't find work to feed themselves or their family. They come to stay alive & a hope of a better future.

Well, you could do with learning the difference between an asylum seeker and an EU immigrant.
Which is exactly what a Brit is when his work takes him to Spain, France or now Poland.

maximum of those workers stay in abject poverty of their very own international locations and are not appeared after by their very own governments besides as by ours - happy they are of use to somebody. extra - i understand that the care marketplace is actively recruiting in Poland, fairly heavily and at substantial fee - so that's no longer purely the business sector that has the inflow. maybe the respond is, because of the fact they could?

let them.

Whats the problem with it, its not illegal and they fill jobs that the lazy dole scum are too bone idol to do. The UK net immigration (migrant workers minus people leaving the uk) is actually negative so its not even causing a poulation boom.

If you really have a problem with these hard workers coming over then act with your feet and not use any products that migrant workers have contributed to. You would starve within a week as nearly all food sectors use migrant workers to bolster their workforce (one local farmer confirmed that without the workers he would not be able to run his farm as the migrants are the only ones who apply for the jobs)

Let me tell you that people from Eastern Europe that belong to the EC come here because there is freedom of movement between the citizens of the EU. That is part of the Treaty of Rome. People from here also go to live in Spain and also put strain in their social services because they are old and fragile or can't speak Spanish.

Many of the Eastern Europeans, come here to work and do the jobs that many of the people in this country don't like doing. e.g. nursing, social services, bus driving. People have always emigrated to look for a better life.

After the First and Second War World people went to the Americas. Many were poor and they were looking after the welfare of their families.

Yes, inmigration needs to be controled, but if the people come from the EC, there is nothing you can do. I think inmigrants as long as they come to work enrich societies they should be welcome.

In the sixties people came from the ex-colonies to do the work that people here were not willing to to. Today we have a vibrant society and many of them are doctors, lawyers, police, restaurant owners, etc. They are fully integrated in our society.

What nobody likes is people either from here or abroad that don't work or study and can't benefit society in any way. But, if people come here to do a decent job and contribute with their taxes, both direct and indirect they are welcome.

Remember, if you are ever in hospital and you find an Estern European cleaner or nurse, are you going to tell him/her that you don't want to eat, your medicine given or have your bed changed because she/he is gready?

Think

Inspire your jobless population to get up and do the jobs that the immigrants are vying for. That's why there's so many illegals in the US (for example) -- who would work heavy labor but the foreign hands?! Sad but true.
