i use adaware, spybot search and destroy, windows defender, and the antispy function in yahoo toolbar. i use all four at least once a week. that should get the job done. Also, if you are using internet explorer version 6, which is default in xp, STOP! Download and use firefox, or opera, or download the internet explorer beta 7. Version 6 internet explorer has hardly any security protecting you from this stuff, don't use it.

What you need is a SpyWare remover program. My best recommendation for this is “SpyBot S & D”. You can get it free from the link http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html Just download this and run it in your computer. It’ll display a list of SpyWare/MalWare in your compute. Then remove them. Good luck!

It is fact that there is only 1 way to remove malware 100% and that is to format your hard drive and re-install the operating system from scratch! sorry, good luck

you should have an antivirus, a firewall and a spyware/adware removal tool installed for best security. Don't run on your PC more than one software of the same kind (ex: 2 antivirus as they might interfere).

I recommend AVG, ZoneAlarm and SpyBoot. Install them after you uninstall other same programs, update them and scan.

Download Yahoo tool bar with anti-spyware then download counterspy free trail.

Then back it up with Ad-Aware.

Then up grade your firewall to Zonealarm.

i'd try AVG first, and if that doesn't get it try the other stuff they got. Also "hijackthis" is there for you if you need to break out the heavy guns. Be careful with that one, it's a powerful tool)
