Since Japan invented it, it is the first answer that comes to mind, however, the food consumption in the U.S is higher, so it makes sense that more sushi is consumed there. now, i'm hungry, and don't have a ride to my Japanese Rest.

I would guess Japan or US but who knows I know here in Australia we have some awesome sushi...salmon oh yummmmmmmm

of course .. that wil be Japan..but in china , SUSHI is popular too for its healthy and fresh .. but not much pople like to eat the raw fish
