I m a muslim but completely agree with u. Atheists have been offensive to me, my religion as well as urs. I believe that we should defend, united in our faith in 1 true God and wipe out all atheists who have tried to force their meaningless beliefs on us. And God bless u, brother

Hello!! :o) I understand what you're saying - but as a Christian - I think it's more important to SHARE my faith than it is to DEFEND it. And to ONLY share what I believe to be true - with those who are willing to listen. God warns us against casting pearls among swine. And although I can appreciate how that verse could be quite offensive to some - it simply means that a believer shouldn't waste his time talking about his faith with someone who has already decided that what you believe is nonsense. And one has to be careful about how they present themselves to the world. When a person states openly that they are a Christian - no longer are they only representing themselves - but Christ and other Christians. That said - I think your question was unbecoming of a man who says he believes in God. A Christian should be a source of comfort - not a source of ridicule and insults. BE that 'shining example'. [Or at least try to be] Craig!! :o)

You see, the problem with your "Never be afraid to answer attacks on God" statement is that so many Christians view anyone who merely belongs to a religion other than Christianity as attacking your deity. Just by existing and believing in their way(s), you see them as attacking. That's a bit of the problem, right there, sweetheart.

I observed the attack on you and it become very infantile. yet sure, i might call him jealous. additionally someone who would not desire to be conscious of the trustworthy evaluations of others, only people who believe them. people who're solid consumers get the celebs and people who do no longer often finally end up being an ex-yahoo person quickly sufficient. There are people who like the drama and flow out of their thank you to deliver it, and there are people who use the region for what this is meant to be,

Christians do enough distortion of their Bible than any Atheist group could do.
Do some educated research before you start spewing your answers though. Don't just repeat what you heard in Sunday School.

yes - always stand up for God -- but be wise in how you do it. There are different situations that require different approaches -- it's not what you say but how you say it -- and remember it's always best to do it God's Way first which is take a loving approach before the angry one. better communication and less hurt feelings (even if you disagree) that way.

i agree that we should not be afraid to answer, but i don't take them too seriously, for a several reasons-first, i feel sorry for them...they just seem a bit 'empty'...and, second, i think a good percentage of them aren't REALLY atheists...they just hate Christians...you'll never hear them rant about jews, muslims, pagans, wiccans, buddhists...just Christians...and third, they just keep repeating themselves over and over again, using the exact same arguments, often quoting each other, so i keep waiting for them to wind down and take their naps, and fourth...if they're hanging around here, then i know they're not in court trying to keep Christians off the site-they'll race to the courthouse at the drop of a knee in prayer...

Yes, when our faith is being attacked, we must stand up. We must stand and be counted. However when people (like in this forum) ask questions only as a shock value or to "get a rise out of Christians" those IMO are to be left alone, to be ignored.
