Hmmm, interesting question, Moon. :)

I also adore onions, so try to add them to as many things that I enjoy eating, as possible. I love adding them chopped, when making hamburger or turkeyburgers, then cooking on the grill. I love adding them raw, to salads. If you eat fried foods, you can always make onion rings. I love making a veggie stir fry using sliced zuccini and summer squash, onions, red pepper, and mushrooms. I stir them all together, cover with a bit of olive oil and italian seasoning and stir fry on the grill, or on the stovetop. I've also been known to eat just a bit of raw onion, especially if it's the Vidalia variety...delicious!! :)

Take a slice of any kind of your favorite bread, spread a little mustard on it, add a thin slice of Swiss cheese (the nice one with fun holes in it). Now cut a thin slice of red onion and put it on top of the cheese. Cover it with another slice of bread and enjoy. I usually have it with a glass of ice cold skimmed milk. delicious! please try it.

I toss them out. I hate onions, but I like onion flavor. If I want the flavor I will use onion salt or onion powder :)
