Yes, I think so.....There are many, many things in this world that you are happier not knowing. Think about this......if you are totally happy in your marriage and your husband/wife is cheating on you but has NO INTENTION of leaving you (just wants to sleep around on the side)....HONESTLY, do you REALLY want to know that they are unfaithful???? I mean, if you don't know, will you remain happy?? YES!! You will. And if you find out, your world will suddenly crumble.....Ignorance is Bliss!!!

it depends. ignorance of a car about to hit u is not bliss. ignorance of the slow painful death that your loved one was put through is bliss.

It certainly seems like it for some people. They choose to ignore truth and reason as well in turn for their comfort zones. For example: "If we evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?" They seem very content not even knowing what evolution is, and they very happy when they think they've "stumped" anyone with a 7th grade science education.

Ignorance leads to some loss. When it occurs, then only you know the value of loss. You will feel very much. if it can be obtainable no problem. If it is unobtainable, total loss. You will be a looser for your lifetime. If it is eternal how worst it is.
