Another non-truth the Athesit tell us is how Adolph Hitler was a good Christians and typical believer. They quote him while running for office in very Luthern Germany.

This is the "Real" Adolph and his belief.

Christanity is a rebellion against natural law, a protest against nature. Oct 10 1941

The Best thing is to let Christanity die a natural death, Christan doctrine will be convicted of absurity (Letter to Himler) Oct 14 1941

Christanity has reached it's peak of Absurdity
Oct 15 1941

The world has two great scourges, the Pox and Chrisnaity Oct 16 1941 Midnight Nazi Rally

Christanity is an invention of sick brains Dec 13 1941...love Adolph!

Notice these dates...he was in POWER...not running for office.

Was Hitler a Christan like the athesit web-sites say he was or are they not telling the truth like everything else they say?

reviled-must be a Christian
pretty good person-gotta be an atheist
oh, by the way, they're all highly intelligent, free thinking, logical, and tolerant...they all say that, too...i think it's tattooed on their left hands

...and just what site may this be? Seeing this sentence in the proper context could shed a lot of light on the matter. Perhaps the author merely intended to point out that having religion (or lack thereof) does not make one virtous.

Adolph Hitler was, indeed, a self-described catholic. He was also a vegetarian and a painter. Do you think that this implies that all vegetarians and painters are nazis?

Facts are facts. You can argue that Hitler was an atheist all you want, but that will not change history...and if you are so very appalled by the concept of atheism, why are you perusing these sites to begin with?

Hitler may have called himself Christian, but he certainly didn't follow Christianity in the slightest. One would think that being part of a belief system would mean that you would believe the beliefs and at least try to follow them.

Therefore, Hitler may have called himself Christian but he seems a lot more like a hypocrite.

Hello!! :o) Anyone - atheist or not - who would suggest that Hitler was a Christian [good or otherwise] is simply doing one of two things. Trying to get a rise out of people or just pulling everyone's leg. Hitler abhorred EVERY religion. It was good to see that you did a 'facts search' when confronted with something that didn't 'feel' right with you. Craig!! :o)

Sir, you must do some research before you start spitting out non-truths. Hitler never adhered to TRADITIONAL christian beliefs, but he was DEFINITELY a believer in jesus...

Read all of that site, and decide for yourself... He was definitely involved in SOME kind of religion... It's credible information. It's not propaganda from creationists or atheists...

They do so because it is easier to smear Christianity by touting the evil Hitler as a Christian. This is called propaganda of deception. Anybody with sound knowledge of the Christian faith knows that Hitler is NOT a Christian. In fact, the atheist himself knows it, he knows that Hitler is hardly a model of Christianity, but he just need something to attack Christianity with, even if it means to lie through the teeth.

hitler was a christian, but he convinced people he was right by telling them he was doing gods work. (Which means that he probably wouldn't have gotten power if it weren't for christianity)

And he still killed people in the name of Christ.

You should quit while you are erm... not quite ahead? you're making an as|s out of yourself, and you get proven wrong with each of your questions.

and what is an athesit web site?

I'm pretty sure that you got pnwnd on this....

No Hitler was no Christian. Even if he called himself one that doesn't mean that he was telling the truth.
