What's the minimun hours for a person to get enought sleep?

most of the time i sleep every other day
you only need 3 or 4 hours a day to recharge and to give your mind as rest,
the Human as a primitive hunter slept when it was safe or possible
the going to sleep every night is purely a habit that has put clocks into the body,
as you get older you need less sleep
a lot of people are worried by this and force the issue by taking sleeping pills or drinking
a ridiculous concept
they should be grateful that they are sleeping less of their life away and use the time for work or play
or read or watch movies whatever
my father needed 3 hours a night to be fully operational again and took brief cat naps during the day when possible
but everybody is different
growing children need the most time

I read that around 100 years ago people got an average of 10-12 hours of sleep a night. 50 years ago it was 8-10, and now its around 4-8.

My conclusion, technology is cutting into people sleep schedule! All this damn artificial light allowing us to get up early and stay up late for work in the dark <=[.

It depends on different people. Some people have the ability to function at 4 hours, while others need 8 hours. I can function with 4 but my friend needs 8 so it really depends.

A Yogi can survive on only a few hours of sleep a day.

Some need eight while others are happy with only six or even four hours of sleep.

It varies from one person to another...
The usual is minimum 6-7 hours but some ppl need 2 stay up more, others don't need that much sleep.
The human body can accommodate & accept less hours of sleep according to your lifestyle.

7-8 hours will do. i sleep at 11 and wake up at 6. i survive. although, i heard that if you lack sleep or wake up later than usual, you're losing 32% of yourself that day.

yes.adult is 8 hrs while children is 10 hs.
