The only way to know for sure is to check with a recruiter. You may be able to get medical waivers for those conditions, and the rules about medical conditions might be different in the Army than in the Marines. A recruiter would know for sure.

I am a Marine, so I can only speak to that branch. Talking to a recruiter would be the best starting place. if you have trouble with flat feet, the USMC might not be your best option. The stress on your feet is brutal, and the rules are there for a reason. A lower impact, technical MOS in another branch might be more realistic. In the Corps, every Marine is a rifleman, and you are trained accordingly, and have to pass a fitness test every year to that standard.

Talk to a recruiter and tell him about your heart problem. You will have to take the AFAB test first. This test will help determine what jobs are best suited for you. Then you and your recruiter will go to the MEPS station. There you will be given a full physical. I'd take any medical records with you concerning your heart. The Doctor there will make the determination as to your fitness for military duty.

It depends on how bad your situation is. I am thinking for the most part you will still be able to join but it is going to hold you back for certain jobs. If you have flat feet and heart problems dont expect to get into Special Ops. You still will have many options. Just like everyone else said, go talk to your recruiter and he will give you all the info you need.

Check with the recruiters from the branches of the service that you are interested in. I am flat footed too and served 23 years in the Army.

Well, your not going to be a Rifleman! As already answered, the best is to go visit a Recruiter. Your contribution as a medic, intelligence, communication, transportation, logistics would be greatly appreciated.
