Hi Hue Jass!! :o) As a Christian - I think what you're asking is perfectly understandable. Many times in my life I've wondered why God hasn't more obviously involved Himself in all of the suffering that goes on in the world. Some people have responded to your question by suggesting that it is because of 'free will' and that all the suffering is 'our fault' - and that may be true. But does that apply to some 2 year old girl or boy who is being raped and or murdered? Or some baby in Africa starving to death and/or going blind because they haven't got enough salt in their body? It confuses me - that's for sure. I've prayed for YEARS that my dad would stop drinking and that my sister would no longer be a cocaine addict. But nothing has happened. And it's too late for my dad - having died almost 13 years ago - but my sister is still an addict. That all said... I tend to believe that because God is far more aware of the suffering that goes in the world than we are - His heart is constantly being ripped apart. But because of how 'things' have been set up - He CAN'T do anything about it. At least not until WE ask Him to get involved. A few years ago - I was quite angry at God whenever I thought of all the starving little kids in the world. Then I thought to myself - my anger isn't feeding ANY of them. So I decided to 'adopt a kid' and have been paying for his food and education ever since. It's a drop in the bucket - for sure - on a world scale - but I bet that one kid I support doesn't see it that way. The world stinks - that's for sure. But try not to add to that 'stink' by becoming consumed by the unfairness of it all. DO SOMETHING - ANYTHING - to let a little fresh air in!! In other words - when you see someone in trouble or in need - help them. Do you want to see the hands of God? They are right in front of you - at the bottom of your arms. Craig!! :o)

No, the question is, How can God forgive you? Honestly, tell yourself you've never sinned, never broken any rules, never disobeyed God. You'd be lying right then just thinking you didn't do anything wrong to deserve anykind of punishment. Have you ever gossiped or put someone down? You made somebody suffer for that. Really think about this before you go asking questions like this and embarassing yourself like this, for everyone to see.

Do you have any idea what kind of pain and suffering Jesus went through to forgive you? Jesus died for you, for your sins, for your life. He died so you could have the chance to have eternal life in Heaven.

Without pain and suffering there would be no peace & love.
People brought pain & suffering unto themselevs, it's not God's fault. Our Lord has given you free will, it's your choice what you do with your life, not His. Satan is the cause for pain & suffering, not God, how dare you!

God gave you life.

You should be ashamed of yourself just for asking such a question. You have nothing to forgive God about. He has done nothing wrong. Shame on you! You should really think what your saying. Pray for forgiveness and never think something like that again!

Makes you wonder if there is a god to forgive sometimes. When my partner died, who had a huge faith by the way. I couldn't do anything but scream at god. Sat all the way through the service looking at my partners coffin, thinking of my lovely man in side. And wondering why a bountiful god would take him. A teacher, wonderful parent, kind and very spiritual. And yet dead at 53 from cancer!
And I look at all that my man was and in that I get some idea about god. God or the concept of god is with in each of us. To do ok by others to respect others and their beliefs. Not the god of the bible. I don't believe in that. But the universe that created us all. So I don't think you have to forgive God but yourself sometimes......

You cannot forgive God. All the evil in the world today is not caused by God, rather it is caused by all the choices made by man's free will. Because man has a free will, God will not interefere with the results of what man does and thinks. All you can do is ask Him to forgive you of your sins, and accept the work of His son on the cross.

it is not up to you to forgive God - God is Good - the pain and suffering in the world is caused by us not by God

Its these people that are supposed to believe in god that are causing most of the pain and suffering in the world. A fictional god isn't responsible for anything, but these "followers" who judge others, line their own pockets, discriminate and wish to control others!

This planet is a place of pain and suffering. But blaming God shows a lack of understanding in the purpose of why we suffer. Once you understand that life is eternal, you will find that the suffering, though still tragic, serves its purpose in the Law of Progress.

perhaps the question you should be asking is "will god forgive me?" for all the wrong doings we have done. god never caused pain and suffering. we did. god never caused wars, we did.

The pain and suffering is just a test. Why you need to blame god. If you go to school and your teacher give you a test (exam), Do you blame your teacher? Weird.
