Why MUSLIMS feel afread of to follow good things from other religions ?

I mean to say that Muslims are ever seen to get away from the places of common mass where as all other communities in world try to live in harmony with each other,e.g., hindus, buddhists, christians, jews,chinese,japanese etc. & all other communities don't try to invade others barring a few examples on the pretext of
' danger to their religion". Isn't it astonishing ?

The problem is about what you think good is... recently I was meeting my friend who is from USA and said durring our conversation that Indian women are vulgur... I was astonished at this statement from a man who has seen some form of nudity on his country's streets. Then I asked him what is the basis of that statement and he said that women in India wear saree and show their belly. Now tell me for him the show of belly is vulgur and for us Indians showing of legs and hands is vulgur. So who is going to decide what is right and wrong? I believe lets leave it to the God that created us to decide what is right and wrong.

Muslims are all brothers in faith and no ethnicity divides muslims whether they are Indian, Japanese, African or anything. Here is the deal. Practice increases faith and inturn faith increases practice. Now if we are in a place of different religious backgrounds we would not be able to practice the religion as we are supposed to and a community keeps the mentioned cycle moving.

The reason of creating a community is because of establishing the laws of the All Mighty himself as laws of man cannot be followed by the Muslim if it contradicts with the laws of God. A society where there is no intrest, alcohol, gambling etc. it's tempting so in order to keep away from such things we need to keep a transparent barier. But anybody can come and stay with us provided they are not there for mischief and same rule applies to all muslims because they are not supposed to harm anybody unless and until in self defence.

Hi, first of all please try to understand the big difference between Islam and Muslims. Islam is the way of life. Muslims are the one who accepts and take oath to follow the ways Islam teaches. If they do not follow, Islam is not to be blamed but the people who breach the contract. They are violators of the rules of Islam.

Islam is the only religion which preaches peace.
Islam is the only religion which declared equality among men and women 14 century ago
Islam is the only religion which teaches its followers how to do even mundane activities

Please understand, it is not Muslims who do not wish to live in mass, it is others who displaces Muslims ( example - recent aggression of Israel in Lebanon). It is the western world who did not wish keep the Jews in their territory after Hitler did the heinous crime against the Jews. They forced found the place in the middle east to displace Muslims.

The history in India, Spain, Turkey, Rome.....speak for itself very clearly who get away from places of common mass

So I humbly request you to reconsider your opinion on Islam and read Islam from the trusted source. So that you may get admonition

First of all the reason i am answering dis is bcoz i feel the person who has asked dis question does not have any hard feelings but only some doubts regarding dis religion unlike some others who are just spreading bad message.

for those who think islam is about terrorism let me tell u d exact translation of islam which is "peace".


another widespread conception is dat islam preaches to convert non-muslims into muslims by force.Dis is completely wrong. Surah 2:256 very clearly states that every individual is free to chose his religion...



lastly,osama-bin-laden claims that he is doing good for islam.........but I being a muslim,and almost every true muslim believes dat osama is a bastard who is bringing bad name to islam and its followers..........it is him and other terrorists like him who should be cursed not the muslim community........and even ppl like bush are no better dan osama

well, i dont think so.it's not that muslims are not ready to lead a peaceful life or they're not ready to cooperate with others. it's just that they have been misunderstood due to those f*****g terrorists who , in the name of religion, are insulting perhaps the most peaceful religion on earth.it's because people don't know what sacrifices our Prophets made in their lifetime to spread the religion without any stains on its name.

people need to open their minds and interact with the muslims near them and ask them the true meaning of Islam.it's only then that the world would be able to differentiate between the real muslims and those who are ruining the world in the name of this great religion---Islam

Muslims are not afraid to follow other rules of religions.but why would we?we have the Quran and Allah why would we need the bible or Torah.Muslims can live in harmony with other cultures and religions but it goes both ways.

because their politics is ruled by religion for eg. India though has Hindu majority the government interefers in the hindu religious matters but they dont dare to do it with muslim religion. because they have a vote bank and vote pockets in other words organised religion!

I'll make it simple although it's probably painfully obvious to all by now.
Most muslims are outright cowards that hate and fear peace. Many religions teach and encourage peace so therefore the muslims feel threatened by this. They would rather kill and destroy than build and employ.
