i guess most probably not. but we dont know whats going on in the minds of some people. however i think comments about you being short cannot be avoided. people may joke about your height or pat you on your head and treat you like a kid. just remember not only short people suffer this. people who are too thin, fat, tall also will get comments about their size and height. just take those comments in your stride as they come along.

At that age, it's usually boys who will get picked on for being short. For girls..it's the tall ones who get ridiculed. People are cruel, but kids are more open about it.

Size doesn't matter, confidence do. You need to go to school and let it be known that getting punked is not your thing. Pick one person and make an example.
