i mean he was always changing water into wine [ what a gig that was ] toasting wine, like at the last supper. talking about wine. was he a wino or something? you can't tell me alcohol wasn't an issue with the guy. it was water into wine, then wine into blood. why not just change water into blood? nope, it's always about the wine.

You do realize Jesus lived about 2,000 years ago right? Wine was a staple back then. It wasn't like you could just run down to the local party store and choose from fifty different beverages. Water and wine were most likely the most common drinks of the day.

Do some research. Your questions will sound smarter.

Wine is used as a drink because water wasnt always available or safe to drink. Wine is also used in the scriptures to symbolize the blood of Christ. He wasnt always "messing" with wine. You think that the Son of God was a drunk?

Water was dangerous to drink at that time because they could not filter the germs and other unwholesome things out of it, wine was safer to drink than the water.

Simply said, you had a better chance of surviving the wine.

the wine represented the blood of Jesus. Wine was a staple of that time and was used as currency so it was very important. If you read the bible it will tell you excatly why.
