The bible is an old collection of writings by various men, a few parts are poetic, a few statements are useful for insights, but the idea that the bible or any other book is the word of god is just absurd. If you consider god to be something/someone of even average intelligence, you could not accept such a mixed up mess
as his/her writing.
However, anthropomorphizing the idea of god is a basic mistake, along with the idea that faith or belief is anything but an abdication of responsibility.
The existence of suicide bombers as respected members of a "prominent religion" ought to be enough to cure anyone of even slight intelligence from "belief in god or any religion."
One of the least charming (or most hilarious) aspects of the thus-far failed attempt to create some kind of functional society on this planet is the spectacle of wars with both sides claming the support of god. "Look on my works ye mighty, and despair..."
(from Ozymandias by Percy Shelly. Read it!)

Not to be rude, but apparently you have no life if you just want to try and make people doubt their religion, and research something you are convinced is wrong anyway.
the bible is full of many contradictions, but the bible was inspired by God, and written by men who are prone to faults.
plus, all the places you have listed are historical occurences, not spiritual ones.
maybe i've got you wrong and you are just pointing those out, if so, I apologize sincerely.
but have you people ever looked at the contradictions in man's knowledge? science is always changing, and not to be trusted.
besides, people miss the whole point, the bible exists to tell us about God and Jesus, and the dates, ages ect are all kinda mixed up.
by the way,I don't believe in evolution, since it has already been proved to be wrong, and is taught only to challenge kids from thinking there might be more to life than what we are fed at school.
it's a shame more i haven't studied the bible as much as you apparently do.
funny how atheists, (if you are one,) waste so much of their time studying a subject they don't believe.
but, hey, believe what you want people, it's free choice.
But remember, hell doesn't exist just because we believe in it...but if it does, it won't disappear just because you don't believe.
again, i do apologize if I've offended or misjudged what you are saying.

What is your point exactly? And all the examples you noted are from the actual real Bible - - - which most Christians dismiss as the old testement taking their guidance solely from the Four approved Gospels. If you are trying to hold your own againt Evangelical Christians you just lost the battle. Christians will argue those books you cited were written by Jews and who can trust Jews. Peace.

The Key word here is "context" for "me" I've gone to the atheist web-sites that promote these things. ANY first year bible student can easily punch holes in these so-called "Contradiction"...they simply quote the bible out of context...I couldn't believe how they have done this...but to an ignorant reader they easily fall for it....hey get so mad when you go through this stuff..You can take any book and do the same thing...just quote things there and draw conclusions over here...it's simply child's play

Thank you for finally pointing these things out.
Personally, I have always wanted to know here Cain was able to find a wife. There was Adam, Eve, Cain, and Abel. But since Cain killed Abel and was banished....the wife came from???

Trust me. You won't get a sensical answer to this question. It's brought up time and time again and not one Christian has taken the time to address these contradictions.
