When I left my house to go to a local store by foot, neigbor called a police, claiming I left my house to "invade someone's premise near the house and steal some properties in the premise". Police stopped me while I was walking back to the house after the shopping, and asked me of my actions after I had left my house. I told them I went to shopping, showed the items I purchased in the store, then I was freed.
I think I do not have a favorable relationship with the neighbor, because many times, I asked the neighbor to turn down an annoying loud music of midnight (usually between 0:00 and 3:00 a.m.); but I cannot tolerate this neighbor's fictitious report.
I would sincerely appreciate if you would tell me anything I could do against the report.
I would more than appreciate if you would give me your e-mail address to help me. My e-mail address: html_view@yahoo.com
Thank you for your time and assistance!

go to the station talk to the desk sergeant, and say someone is harrasing you AND is wasting police time, if this continues are you going to take action against this individual for wasting police time or do i need to see an attorney to sue the police department for wasting my time....they've been told they are false reports and not dealt with them appropriatly

Sorry that happened to you but the important thing to do is TRY AND KEEP PEACE w/the neighbor some can be a real pain, and unless you plan on moving then act as though they don't exist. I to made some one mad in pass life and I really did not mean to Well because of their lies I lost my Job, Almost had my child taking away from me so you see this sort of thing can occur just be glad you did not have a GUN HO Officer out to make a statement or gain extra Quota and had you arrested, BAD THINGS HAPPENED TO GOOD PEOPLE, I did the same thing you did at one time and I got my car keyed before neighbor moved. NOW I STAY TO MYSELF,Now UNLESS THEY COME ON YOUR PROPERTY then just try and mind your own business, AND PLAY YOUR MUSIC LOUDER. That might work, I will send you my e-mail address just in case you want to use it.

I would advise you to make a written complaint to the chief of police in your area. Your neighbour is clearly antisocial, and likely has a personal problem with you. Try to avoid them. If they are playing music loudly, it is likely to try and get a reaction from someone. That's why taxes are paid. Let the police do their job and give them the information they need to do it well. Keep a diary of problems with this person, so that if another incident occurs, you have ongoing documentation. That should shut them up. The police will help you if you help them.

Filing a false police report is a crime. I would document any harassment, interchanges and exchanges you have with your neighbor.
If this proves to be a pattern, that documentation will help the police and the district attorney file charges.
You could also pray they move soon!
I know it is difficult, I have neighbors whom I can only hope they leave.

Your neighbor has committed a crime. Go to the police and explain the situation. Also, if they do nothing and it happens again, make sure you document each incident. Also, talk to a lawyer. If the police are unwilling to do anything about it, you may be able to bring a civil suit. The thought of losing money may get him to stop acting stupid.

The police were made aware of your beliefs - correct?
If the neighbor calls again you have proof of a pattern.
Besides - police do not like being used. That neighbor will get his if he continues. My ex harrased me and wasted my time and money. When she got police involved the court suddenly took notice and ended the matter. You can hope your neighbor is stupid and does it again.

file a complaint. or take it to court for deframation of character. tell the cops that the neighbors are holding a grudge against you because you have complained about their noise. i would go with deframation of character. i think that would be the best. and slander give em a double whammy, we live in a freedom states, and you have a red white and blue right to protect your name.

well really there isn't too much you can do. you were taken to jail, but it was an unfounded report. There is nothing on your record. Although it may piss you off, there wouldn't be much to prove that they "intended" to file a false police report.
