How many times do you have to ask the same question? Atheism is not a belief...it is a conviction. I don't care what Webster's says...they're wrong.

Yes. It's the opposite of Theism, which is the belief there IS a God. Christianity, Islam etc is the belief in a SPECIFIC God, but they are all examples of Theism.

No, it's not quite correct.

An atheist simply does not share the theists belief in God, there is no belief involved in being an atheist we just don't see sufficient evidence to hold a belief in a God or Gods. ..

Atheists don't believe there is a God ... but this is quite different to saying atheists believe that there is no God.

Theists believe there is a God, atheists don't share that belief.

Yes, that's right. While there are people that don't believe in God who passively accept the fact that others do, atheists are more the type to be fully against it entirely, from what I've seen.
