Have you really looked into the history of why the women wear veils? There are some men from every race that don't know how respect and know to control them self properly around women so you just can't pinpoint them to one group.

Rapes are reported in the Muslim world. But just like plenty of rapes go unreported here in the US because some women are afraid to speak up, the same happens over there.
And by the way, rape is no joke over there. Nobody goes to jail for a few years because they raped somebody. It's considered as awful as murder and is treated as such - i.e. the death penalty.
Another thing to do something about your ignorance - the only places on the planet that require women to cover are Saudi Arabia and Afghanistan when it was under the Taliban. Other than that, women wear the veil out of personal choice, their way of showing their submission to God, tradition or culture.
But best believe, behind closed doors, those women know how to have the best parties, and wear the most gorgeous clothes. They are no more happier or miserable than western women. Every culture has it's negatives.
And by the way, if you went word for word by the Bible or the Torah, women all over the world would be required to cover.
Even in countries like Saudi Arabia, the veil is such a non-issue for the women. It's western women who freak out about it. With their families behind closed doors, plenty of Arab and other women are running things.
And to the idiot who said they're uneducated - check your literacy stats buddy.

hiding our women in veils prevents many bad things other than making stupid things...If a Muslim woman exposed her legs for example. this would make sexual stimulation in men who look at her..( that doesn't necessarily mean that they would rape her) but
It will be a sin..It would be a bad deed for her,for the looking man and for her husband because he let this happens
If you were walking in the street beside your husband and you saw him staring in some woman's body will you be happy for this?! if you are a normal woman...I don't think so!!
Muslim men are mostly capable of controlling themselves very well but even feeling sexual excitation because of women open
clothes is some thing God hates very much for his believer servants.
you can like that or hate it but this preserves women bride and humanity and makes families more stable.

men wants women really bad coz their interest just focuson women.compare to women,thier interest devided to many things such us shopping,pets,clothes and many more n less on men. that is y man cant control their inner need. for info,all part of women, ALL of it is beauty. even that particular woman didnt notice it but man can notice it very clear coz they put all of their mind on it.

Check out the rape statistics in your country and then compare with Muslim countries. Those rapist in your country arent Muslims - they are Christians and Jews.

good question tashtousha..come on...do u really know the exact precise reason Zidane headbutt the Italian guy...do u???
