Hey can anybody out there tell me how long you should wait to start dating after a divorce or a serious break up? I'm like totally over my ex (it's been about 5 months). I met someone who is awesome! We hit it off with bang! I just hope this isn't a rebound thing. Anyway, thanks for your time.

Do you feel you are ready! I met my husband while I was dating someone and broke it off with them and the same day started dating my husband. It is all up to you. If you feel ready go for it.

When a relationship is oover start dating as soon as possible. Date for some time before totally commiting yourself to a long lasting reelationship.

normally about 3 - 12 months depending on how long you were togther if you really like this guy then simply explain to him that you just got out of a seriuos relationship and wanna to take things slow this way thers no pressure to rush into anything. good luck

If it feels right , go for it. Some people never meet anyone they connect with. Don't take the chance of a good one slipping through the cracks. Now, that doesn't mean to go get married right off..lol..good luck:)

If you like this person you owe it to yourself to see where it goes. If it is a rebound atleast you will have gotten that out of the way.

first be clear about ur feelings for the second guy.make sure u dont begin ur realtionship jus becoz ur trying to get back at ur ex-which doesnt seem possible since u jus mentioned ur over him??!!

the guy u just met might be a rebound so idk about that and until u are completely over ur ex ur not ready for any serious relationship or dating
