for him to let the past go.What should I say? I know you guys don't know the full story so I'll give you a tidbit.
Back in 2004 my husbend and I split apart, and my father in law had to help him with the rent of his new pad. Then we got back together, and my father in law falt used.
How do you say sorry for making him feel unloved.Because I really do love him.
Can you help me come up with some loving words to help me get our family back together.
Thanx ahead of time.

I think this will only take time. He is hurt. He feels used. He feels you deserted his son. He is out money and that makes it worse.
He may never forgive you. Parents are protective of their children, and while they may let their children pick their own mate, it doesn't mean that they like them - and in this situation, he can be as mad as he wants to be - you "hurt" his child.
I would pay him back the money he spent - a little bit at a time or all at once - I would tell him that every couple has issues at times, more harsh than at others, but you were able to pull through it because you truly love each other. I would also tell him you don't expect him to forgive you ever - but that you hope he someday realizes it was a rough patch, you don't anticipate it ever happening again, and for the sake of everyone involved, he doesn't have to love you or like you, but could he find it in his heart to at least be "civil" during family gatherings.
You have to earn the right to his respect again, and it will not be easy.

It's good that you've decided to be the first to talk to him and to patch things up..
at their age, they tend to be more sensitive.. so i'd probably start by telling him you're sorry and you're more than willing to pay him back the rent.. at least he'll feel that it's not the money
then go ahead and say what you need to say.. that you really do care for him and it was just normal to have a little misunderstanding between husbands and wives.. and it wasn't intentional..
say that you would love it if he can join your family for dinner at least it's up to him to accept.. if he does.. then there's your answer.. he loves his son.. he was worried.. so make him feel that his son didn't made a mistake in marrying you..
hope this helps and good luck

A letter is elementary to write down. are you able to instruct information which you have sufficient financial aspects (ITR, financial business enterprise statements) to shoulder all or any treatment which would be carried out on your father interior the U. S.? have you ever shown the scientific archives of your father to any US well being practitioner. Has this well being practitioner signified (in writing to instruct consul) that he/she can do something that would desire to no longer be carried out on your father's united states of america? Does your father have any potential of financial help for this trip. maximum cancers is a dreadful ailment. i'm sorry on your father. i'm hoping they might help him out quickly.

let him know that people have to go through certain obsitcles to get to be who and where they are.
It's the people along the way that extend a hand or a thought that can have the most positive influence in our lives.
Sounds like he's a good man and was helpful. Let him know how greatful you are and how much it meant to you.

Just speak from your heart and let him know that he is always welcomed in your heart, your family and home.

Sounds like you weren't the one using him. Why do you have to appologize? Tell your husband to get a better job.
