I don't know. I can't afford cable.

Probably he was pissed that he was "back-doored".

You know, IRR guys are getting called back from the civvy world. I was in the military, so I understand the 8 year contract and all. But nobody called me back when I was trying to re-establish myself in the civilian world.

Cheney, Bush, and Rummy are stretching the military to a breaking point. If we don't leave Iraq soon, we will need a draft to help keep America secure. If you are a high school male senior, you might want to get good grades and go on to college to help avoid that situation...

my prediction is that we will need a draft within 3 years. Maybe I'm wrong...I sure hope so.

Despite all the pathetic whining from right ring cross-huggers the story is the same as in every war since humankind started waging war far from home. The soldier was complaining about having his time extended. As on any job the soldier had been given a time to look forward to to take leave and suddenly he is being held back, his skills needed until replacements can be shuffled into place. Happens frequently - - - George Washington wrote several letters to Martha regretting his inability to leave his duties and no one bashed him as a Liberal-Coward. The soldier simply wanted Leave that he felt had been promised to him. Simple story - - - Peace.

dummy, what is the marine corps job? to invade, and occupy until the army comes in and go for the long haul. the mission of the marine corps is to be an amphibious invading force to take an objective until the amy comes in to occupy. the marines are always "first to fight" and have that "kick in the front door" mentality. in conclusion, the usa abused the mission of the marine corps by having them "occupying" american held positions. i beleive considering the small size of the marine corps and its mission our beloved Corps is being abused

Does this make you feel better? more superior? to constantly snipe at the marines? at the military? every time you post something like this you are helping the enemy... now do you feel proud? Go talk to the United Nations about heir Police action and quit blaming Bush... go talk with your liberal democrat who is probably voting to keep the war going... Bush can't do it all on his own... sorry he doesn't have that kind of power. You are tiresome.

If you lived in hell everyday, and it is your second tour, perhaps your third tour, and you have been away from your family, maybe you would be a little emotional also. He'll be ok, most of our soldiers should be pretty tired by now!

Because he wants to go home ... I have huge respect for our soldiers that are deployed right now. It takes a huge toll on themselves being there, missing their loved ones and having to staying strong.

It's so easy to judge others when we are not in their situation! I am sure he has his reasons and it's anything but paradise over there so you have to feel for him a bit! I know I do and I am so proud of the service he is providing for our country!

Would you want to fight in a war that you dont agree with? I mean it's his fault becuase he signed up for the military, but he probably misses being home, plus it's really damn hot over there.
