If you want to talk to a girl you have to be completely honest.If you're not and she finds out, you have no chance.
Steps
Compliment her on her style
Say her eyes are beautiful, but don't use a pick up line.
Tell her she has a beautiful smile.
Ask her questions (nothing personal)to get to know her.
Girls like it when boys try and defend them so make her feel protected.
If you pick on her and pretend you hate her, then she will never like you.
Girls feel at home when you talk to them honestly and openly so try doing that.

Remember this: the best thing to do is tell her in a note or directly.She will think you are brave for admitting it.

Also remember that EVERY girl is different - therefore, there is no specific set of steps to magically get your object of affection to like you. The reason she would like you is because she likes you for who you are. So just merely be yourself. No one likes a pretender.

I am not a date doctor or anything, but i just walk up, introduce myself, get to know her a little, ask for a phone number and get told "yes" or "no". start a conversation about something pointless, start it with a question,be very interested in what she is talking about, and hopefully the rest of the conversation will come naturally. also, start the conversation in a place where you will both be for a while. you want to talk for a while, not a few seconds. this has always worked for me. be confident, but not overconfident. but mostly, BE YOURSELF. chicks do not like it when you try to be someone you are not. except the gold-diggers and the like. sorry for the long reply. good luck.

You can ask someone she knows- a common friend of both of you-what she likes e.g. sports, hobbies, etc. or you can observe from the books/reading materials she is carrying etc. From there you will know what interests her. You can give her a book, magazine or an article that might interest her- you can even forward an email regarding topics she might like. Phone her and talk to her. compliment her on something about her like what she's wearing. Lets say she's in some kind of club ask her about it if there is an upcoming event. If she's an intelectual read the news and start up a conversation about something interesting. basic little questions can do a conversation wonders.

well for now u say that you say hi to each other, thats good... next time you see her say hi how are you!
get at ease with her, coz if you ai'n got anyy assurance in yourself she won't take you serious.
so get assured, (after all she's just a person) take it easy !!!
get to know her, things she likes and dislikes. talk about her favorite films, last time she went to cine.....
lots of things you can talk on! d'nt get stressed else you'll fail!!

talk about what interests you. Be nice and honest. Ask her out to coffee or a movie. be a gentleman and pay for it too!!! Ask questions but make sure you willing to listen to the answers. Try and focus on her face and not down below!!!
