Jesus wasn't the only person ever to be crucified. A lot of people died that way. It didn't matter how "tough" they were, but what type of criminal they were.

He was a carpenter. In those times, carpenters were more like construction workers than just people who made chairs and wood junk. He would have actually been ripped. And he's not white like all the pictures show. He's Palestinian (obviously, since that was where he was born and lived).

in fact if you read the bible..he was afraid to die..when he knew he was going to die on the cross, he went to the garden at night to pray and ask God for strength. an angel came.
