I see people with em and I just wonder if u would have to cut them
off, cause it's like a nasty TANGLE that looks really hard to comb
out ??......thanks. ( I do dig the look still).

Yes, you do have to cut them off once they have locked really well. I hate that hair style

well you can go to a professionable hair dresser to get it mosturised and straightened out again..
