Ergot ! gimme a break, they hung Him on a tree , they were executioners par excellence !
And we are talking about resurrection from within , not by outside advanced medical therapies, duh!
And no one make you read or react to questions so just give YOURSELF a day off ....it's allowed!!

It was not made up, which I think is your point. If so I agree with you.

Actual Resurrection? I would say unlikely.

But people practised the art of slight of hand and illusion even back then.
Historical research has proof that a man called Jesus did exist, but it also suggests that he was probably married as well! I think it's acceptable that perhaps there was an event that appeared to be a Resurrection, but I think it was more likely a misunderstanding if not a deliberate deception.
I don't think there's any harm in people believing in the message that the Resurrection story carries, but they should also consider the more realistic possibilities surrounding the event. Jesus' body was human after all and therefore does not make a complete recovery from a bad case of death.

I respect everyone's beliefs, it's a shame that there are some (not all) Christians who can't do the same.

Of course you could make it up. People have made up all kinds of stories. People are very creative. Could you make up the stuff in Stephen King novels? What about Joseph Smith finding golden tablets and having a couple talking rocks interpret them for him and then the tablets ascend in to heaven? Preposterous as well.
The question is, Why would they make up the resurrection? Was there any benefit to them making up a story like that? and Is making stuff up consistent with their personalities, teachings, and other behavior?, Could they have thought they saw a resurrection but were mistaken? These are the question to answer. Just because a story is outlandish, doesn't mean it's too crazy to be made up. In fact most implausible stories are probably made up. That's not to say the resurrection didn't happen. Who knows?

certain even as Jesus rose from the useless keep in concepts he said Mary and advised her that He had not assented to His Father yet so do not contact Him. it truly is an similar Jesus that died on the bypass and rose. God the Fathers loved Son. God the daddy changed into telling the Israelites that this similar man or woman who they crucified is their Christ and Lord. If we do not have self assurance in the Resurrection of Christ to keep us from our sins and that some human beings don't have self assurance that Christ Rose, then there is not something for those notwithstanding the grave. Now if absolutely everyone did not matter on Christ Resurrection then even those who're asleep in the Lord {in the floor} will in no way upward thrust and perish. that isn't take position because there are plenty those who have self assurance. And we are able to upward thrust on the 2d coming of Christ. He went to prepare an section for us and he will come lower back for us so we will be with Him perpetually John 14:a million-4. That 1Corinthians statement in basic terms meant that in case you do not have self assurance the tale of Salvation then this entire difficulty must be unnecessary and guy variety ought to easily perish devoid of desire in something. The Sadducee's in no way did matter on a Resurrection. Mark 12:18

religion is pure fantasy, the bible is a book of complete and utter garbage the book was not written until hundreds of years after the so called facts, the stories were passed down through the generations by word of mouth so they would have been exaggerated slightly now wouldnt they. as all rumours get stretched the longer they go on. the immaculate conception, er yeah right. feeding thousands on a couple of loaves and some fish, me think not and cretinous tales like the parting of the sea, the ten commarndments, and your point ressurection really does beggar belief that so many people still govern their lives and try to govern others on this antiquated tripe. but this question will doubtlessly bring the usual disdain from the bible bashing brigade who cannot see beyond there own noses that this crass nonsense is still believed in this the 21st century despite the ever decreasing circle of there flock there places of worship and the hard but correctful truth that the acts of physics not gods are responsible for the universe, the esrth and the whole of mankind...

The amazing fantastic, most wonderful event in history and you want to term it preposterous...hummmm. You don't happen to sit on the board of weights and measures by the way, now those people are preposterous. One saturday as I was attempting to take off a real heavy camper from my truck using a come-a-long, I seperated my ring finger from my hand. So I stop the bleeding and figure I might need it bandaged properly, a paramedic comes and asks if I still have the finger, I laugh and say, I have two dogs...this is preposterous by the way but it gets even better. I go to church the next day and the minister says, Marcus either you hate everyone here or you have a story to tell. When I get to the part about the two dogs, half the congergation laughs and the other half boos, and thats preposterous, not Jesus rising from the grave to prove his power over evil.

That's Y they're called miracles, the implausibility adds 2 it.

I'm sorry U're getting stick, some folk here don't always read the entire Q.
But read in2 it what they think U mean.
The Jews killed Jesus, not by their hand but by not protesting 2 the Romans.
Jesus was not who they were expecting, they wanted a fighting man; not a man of Peace & certainly not boy who upset the Money-lenders outside his fathers church.
Might B implausible, but I think the fact that the Jews R still waiting 4 their Man-of-War.
Aren't they?

No one can cheat death. When you're dead you're dead. No matter how spirtual, strong, bold, passionate or any other trait. Death is the end. What made jesus so special anyway? He preached that his father was a etheral being that looked down upon all of earth and judged everyone on it. I think he'd be considered insane by todays standards.

So yeah, it's impossible. It's a made up story used to inspire christians and get them to believe the faith. "OMGG HE ROSE FROM TEH DEAD HE MUST BE RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHING HE SAID!!"

no, ergot poisoning could put people into a coma state where they seemed dead. they used to put strings in coffins attached to bells so that if the person actually was in an ergot induced coma they could pull the string, ring the bell above their grave, and be dug up. and apparently, it happened more than once. he could just have been suffering from ergot poisoning. I'm positive that whoever wrote revelations was since hallucinations lasting for days was another symptom of ergot poisoning.

I can't really determine what you're attempting to ask. If your premise is that Jews thought the resurrection of people from the dead was either blasphemous or preposterous, you have much to learn. Try reading about Elijah and Elisha in the OT.

I am a muslim we ahev another point of view about Jesus. Allah pick him up from earth when jews tries to kill him. Now near the day of jugment God send him back as leader against Dajjal (Anti-Christ). If you say GOD as GOD, Than stop raising the question how he can do it. He creates you, you never ask a question how he do it. Lets think, from one sperm, one cell he create a whole body of man. How he can do that. Thsi is not a ordinary system. He makes the earth.
He makes the things existed from non-existance form. Do you have answer of that, when there is nothing how he created every thing.
